Timberline Glamping tents are located inside Lake Manatee State Park in the loop from (Site#31-60) Campground. Many hiking and biking trails are accessible right near the glampsites.

The park’s best adventure can be found on the waters of Lake Manatee, a 2,400-acre reservoir considered one of the best fishing spots in the region. Sunshine bass, speckled perch, bluegill and crappie can be found in most parts of the lake, while catfish and largemouth bass tend to favor deeper waters.

A boat launch, kayaks, canoes, and bikes, and additional hiking/biking on a 6.5 miles of multi-use trails.

  • Bathrooms

    *Are there bathrooms?

The path/trail to access the restrooms and showers is found on the right side of site #53. There are no bathrooms inside of the tents.

  • Air Conditioning and Heating

*Does the tent have A/C and heat?

Our tents have a mini-split A/C and heating system to enhance your comfort. But remember, they're canvas-walled tents. On average, you can expect that the unit will offer a 5-15 degree difference from the exterior temperature. During the heat of the afternoons, the A/C has much less impact on the interior temperature. The cooling ability can be as much as 20 degrees cooler in the evenings. This difference is significant, but the system is not equivalent to central A/C. We recommend that you keep tents closed during the heat of mid-day to trap in the cooler conditioned air, open at night for a breeze, and layer up in cold months. Enjoy nature with a touch of comfort.

  • What happens if it rains?

Sometimes it rains. All of our tents are waterproof and have additional rain guards to ensure you still have an enjoyable experience. In fact, we have been told by guests that experiencing rain in our glamping tents is a great experience.

We do not cancel reservations due to rain, thunderstorms, or illnesses.
